Scottish Equivalent to A-level Further Maths?

Is there a Scottish equivalent or do higher and advanced higher maths just cover all the same ground as maths and further maths at A-level? If not it seems that we're at a bit of a disadvantage in math-based subjects, especially if, for example, wanted to study a maths intense course at a university where there would be a lot of competition from people doing A-levels.

Advanced Higher maths covers more than just A level maths does, but less than Further maths does.
If there isn't then unis will understand that you jsut don't have that option, in the same way that not every sixth form offers it - which can be mentioned in references/PSes/interviews if the admissions tutors wonder why you're not doing it.

This is similar. Someone at my sixth form wants to do maths at uni. Last year, our sixth form didn't offer FM, but this year she's doing AS fm and she/her reference will mention why.
There is AH Applied Maths, which provides two options: Mechanics and Statistics, of which you may sit exactly one. One third of the course is a cut-down of the interesting parts of the 'pure' maths AH. Broadly, Maths and Applied Maths in Scotland is comparable to Maths + FM at A level. (You can - and I daresay people will, because they always do - quibble the fine details back and forth each way. In practice, a candidate sitting either would not be significantly disadvantaged relative to one sitting the other.)
