The reason why some people got 1,373,900cm3 for question 17b is that they rounded it to 1d.p at the start, I kept everything in decimal form, until my last answer in which it got 1,373,923.003 (or something like that) and it said to round it to the nearest one d.p so it has to be 1373923cm3
So please tell me I am write, because I had done the same method, as everyone else

Could someone please remind me how many marks the soap powder question was worth? ^^

I think it was worth 4 marks.

Probably the easiest 4 mark question...?

You get method marks (M1).

If they have a range in the mark scheme for example :

Answer : "1,373,900 - 1,373,950" you'll get full marks.

Thanks!
yep I think that's right, I squared k for part a and cubed k for part 2 ^
I have 209 UMS so far from unit 1 and 2. Does anyone one know what mark id need for an a*? Not the ums just the paper mark.
Who's got a copy of the exam paper so solutions can be made?

for Q 13 i used the decimal form and so my answer was 9.18 will i get penalised ?
For the inequality graph where you had to find the shaded region, were you supposed to use dotted lines or solid to show the inequality

You need 151 UMS... So I think that's around 76/80?

Well we know that 360, in total, is A*

so, 360-209 = 151 UMS

151 UMS = A* in Unit 3

151 UMS = around 75 marks

You need around 75 marks.
