Lads Holiday 2013 - Need advice?

Hardly desperate, can pull in the UK easily would just be nice to not go to somewhere full of annoying scottish lads screaming everywhere haha!

Nothing up with us Scottish lads, we just like to have a good time
went to Kos 23 aug for a week was so good. cost us £400 but was worth every penny drinks out there are so cheap 2 cocktails for 5 euro plus the countless free shots you get one bar even does 20 shots for 5 euro plus any drink so cant go wrong. clubs are amazing they only have 2 main ones they close at like 5:30 only 5 euro entry too. but when they close you go to seva where its 24 hour bar so stay there till stupid o'clock in teh morning!!! girls to boys ratio was fairly equal 8% are scottish birds the rest are mainly from leeds but overall was the best week ever, going there next year also but planning to go somwhere else beforehand

Few of my friends went to Malia this year and said it was the best week of their life and not too expensive !Me and the fellas have been on a vacation both in July and August to Kavos. The first time we went was in July when I was 17 and we had a spiffing time so rebooked for August next year. Unfortunately in August it was very disappionting due to the facts that the area was filled with oldies and young families. We were displeased as there was no catch for us if you get my drift.

, few of my friends went to magaluf and stayed at mallora rocks and loved it this summer! were from Glasgow , have a lovely time ! XGreetings victoriad, I think that your friends may have been telling porkies! I would be careful who you choose as friends. Remember, as Oscar Wilde once said "true friends stab you in the front". I find that to be a very inspiring quote indeed.

I'm going to Zante in 10 days with 10 other girls, so will tell you what I learn when I get back..

Me and 8 other lads had our first 'lads holiday' together in the summer. we are all 18 and had an amazing time. we went to Zante from June 28th - July 5th. a lot of party 'veterans' told us that it was a little too early to go and that the end of July is better however the place was packed and if it was any busier I think it would have had a negative impact. As most guys, we went out there with the view of sun sea beer and sex, which you more or less get all of. there was a distinct lack of whales - then again I had my beer goggles on quite often, yet we did cast our eyes on a lot of lovelys, many of whom I'd give a strong 7/10 at the least. we were even gifted with a few 9.5's at our hotel.
ANYWAY, Zante was the place to be we were told this summer from the workers out there, they said that the previous year it was no way as busy as it had been this year and that it probably will be the same next year. we stayed at the 'Mariana' hotel; bit of a ****e hole but then again we booked with Thomas Cook (club 18-30) and paid about £380 for the week, self catering. it has a pool and a bar, and gives you a bed and a shower, you don't need anything else so hotels out there aren't a huge issue. the owners can be ****ers at times but if you think about it they have a hotel to run, they have to be strict occasionally. the general vibe we got from most guys on holiday was that its an extra 30€ to bring a girl back to your room (so go to hers instead, wise lads) there are quite a few big clubs out there, Rescue being probably the largest, holds 1500-2000 and there was Danny Howard (radio 1's dance anthems) playing there one night. Plus club had Scott mills, Vernon Kay, Kissy Sell Out etc. Zante actually has a few big names out there. and then these clubs shut at around 4:30-5ish and drinks are about 5€ each. so go to a bar beforehand where you get like 2 hours free bar for 12€. we started at a place called first stop everyday where they did this deal. so after these clubs shut there is a club called cherry bay which has proper licensing and are the only club to charge on entry, yet they are open to stupid o clock, and usually let girls in for free but give guys a drink token when they pay to get in.
Food is good out there, restaurants are delightful and even the fast food is top notch, you will get bullied like fudge by the reps to get you in and they can be quite rude so just tell them you have already eaten, and that you'll come back tomorrow. if you let people push you around out there you'll spend a fortune. 12€ - 15€ is average for 2 courses and a few drinks during the meal. but the price is settled beforehand and they will do deals if you dig with them.
for spending money- I took £500 worth to be save, and I spanked every penny before the last night, I will budget better next year! but you get stung by reps right at the start of the week selling you tickets, my advice would be to do one of them right at the start of the week so you meet people, but then after that walk down the strip and see what is going on because we paid 40€ for Scott mills tickets only to find the club was selling them for 20€. so be careful and sort most events out yourself. but a paint party or something on the first night is a great way to meet girls/boys.
id definitely recommend Zante, everyone is friendly and it's very surreal, the scene in the inbetweeners movie as they walk down the strip for the first time springs to mind as it literally was jaw dropping. it's not massively expensive and from what I have heard from workers it's second only to Ibiza and a lot cheaper. you'll have a great time, it's clean, hotels are close to the strip, food is good, drinks are cheap in supermarkets and bars, everyone wants to socialise and regardless of what's been said a lot easier to pull abroad, not that it's hard in England, some girls just really let themselves go and all boys are looking for is a female... go to Zante, start of July, it'll cost you £400 and then take 500-600€. lovely stuff

Ibiza costs more 
It actually cost that much, I'm going for £448 including insurance. The bigger clubs like Elparadise are obviously going to be expensive to get into but they are the biggest and best clubs out there. Also the DJ's they have there are the best in the world. If you only hit the big clubs like once then stay on the strip for the rest of the holiday it probably won't change much from Napa or Maga?
I've heard from friends that Maga is a complete ****hole where all the girls are complete s**gs. Also Napa is a proper lads holidays so there aren't as many girls out there.
But if you're going to go on a holiday to go clubbing then surely Ibiza is the only choice?
I'm going this summer and it's going to be mental!!
