loan hasn't come through yet. * paranoid*

Hey, according to a letter I received from student loan company a while ago, I should receive my first instalment today but it hasn't come through yet.

Is anyone, or was, in the same situation?

I would phone saas but lines are busy all the time.

Okay, so are you with SAAS? What country are you studying in? Are you in first year, or a later year?

I've already started college today though...had my enrolment on Tuesday.

Yeah, according to this link: http://www.saas.gov.uk/student_support/payments.htm

you should be getting the first installment on the day you start. Is that today, or do you officially start next week or something?

No, I had my first classes today and they even sent me a letter with dates of all instalments and first one was suppose to be on my bank account today but it's still not there. I'm just not sure if I should be worried or not.

If you've received the award letter, then that is that, everything is set up fine. It should have been there today from what I can see. SAAS is closed now, so not sure what you can do.
