Jeans are uncomfortable, especially when they pinch behind the knees.

Pro tip, wear leggings instead of tights when it's cold.

Yeah, if you wear spray on jeans. If you get a properly fitting pair, there's no reason why they should pinch anywhere.

Black tights with black shorts are fine. But the shorts shouldn't be too tight, there should be some space.

I really wasn't making assumptions about you at all. I just don't get how jeans would pinch if they were a good fit, that's all I meant.

It depends what you're used to. I wear skirts with bare legs a lot of the time & the cold doesn't bother me because I'm so used to my legs being uncovered. If I can cope with bare legs in the cold I'm sure the girl you saw would be OK in her tights. Also jeans aren't the best clothes to wear when it's raining- they can be pretty uncomfortable when they're wet.
