AS French Orals

Just done my French Oral on WJEC today. Thought it was pretty cool actually, no problems I don't think. How's everyone else done? and does anyone know how strictly the orals are marked, aka how hard is to get a really high mark /90. Merci.

I just did my A2 oral today - i'm not sure how it went but i'm very grateful it's over... i almost keeled over from stress today. Phew!

I'm with the WJEC board as well and I've got mine on 9th May...

From what I was told, they are much more lenient in their marking than a lot of the other boards, such as AQA. I think that an A was in the region of 75-80%, so it's not impossible!

Anyone know if full marks for the oral is as possibly obtainable as it is in some other subjects? If you've got full marks in an oral (any board), how well did you think you had done after the exam? I'm just curious is all :rolleyes:

Argh!! Have mine on thurs 4 may. Seriously worried about it. I haven't even completely finalised what i'm going to say. What topics is everyone doing? I've gone for tourism in paris, not entirely sure what exam board though :confused:

I did about the European Union and the constitution. Got asked some evil questions! And as for the unseen text bit...What type of noise don't I like and why?! What's that all about?

Hey there..this is like my first time on this thing..i really dont know how to use it or if anyone can actually see my comment but i feel like i really need some help.i feel really lost right now as i have my oral on thurs. throughout school up until gcse i adored french and really got it...but this year its like a living nightmare.ive learnt my presentation..but i dont even know where to begin to try and learn anything else?can anyone give me advice..as im just wasting my time worryingx

I've got mine in less than 3 hours. I'm sooo nervous. >< Mine's on french colonialism and I hope I can do my presentation successfully, and I think I can get through my unpredictable questions in one piece.

But meep, so nervous. >< I need words of comfort. :P I'll probably come straight on here and tell everyone what I screwed up on. =D

Someone in my class got 89/90 at AS with WJEC. So getting a very high mark is certainly possible.

I got full UMS marks (90/90) in my french gcse oral, but thats all I know about whether it is easy or not to get full marks at a-level!

I had mine a couple of weeks back, had an external examiner, he kept making jokes in my oral and making me laugh lol
