Should i write to the head of dept?

I have applied to kent to study biomedical science.

Im a mature student (27, so hardly) studying a levels (bio, chem, pyschology) and gcse maths at home, taking the exams in the summer.

This means i dont have any predicted grades and my reference is only my employer.

Im more than capable of getting a BBB (and the C in math at GCSE) infact i want A's so i qualify for the summer job placements. I think my personal statement was good.

Will i be rejected because i dont have predicted grades/ref?

Should i write in or is that too much?

Thanks

Stanley.

Hello,

Are you studying completely independently - and therefore have no academic reference? If that is the case, I would call our information line on 01227 827272 and they will point you in the right direction of who to talk to.

I do think it is worth clarifying, just incase it is not made clear in your application.

Thanks, and good luck.
