Study a course + language

Hi everyone! I've got a conditional offer for International Development starting this year. I wanted to know what are the options to study a language at UEA outside your course; I'm interesting in studying French without sacrificing credits from my course.
Thanks a lot!

Hi Ataria!

Congrats on getting your offer!

You can study a language completely separate from your degree, in a non-credit undergraduate class. You can see the details of daytime courses here: http://www.uea.ac.uk/lcs/evening-classes/day-courses

Or you can study in an evening class, the details are here: http://www.uea.ac.uk/lcs/evening-classes

When you get into your second and third years of study, you can choose to study French as a module depending on how confident you feel as it does count towards your assessment.

Taking a language is a really great idea as it allows you to meet new people, gain confidence and will set you apart from other graduates so well done!

Let me know if you have any other questions,

Hannah
