Metabolic importance of alcohol fermentation?

a) Glucose +ATP -> Glucose-6-phosphate + ADP (10)

b) Glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate + Pi + NAD+ -> 1,3-Bisphosphoglyceric acid + NADH +H+ (10)

c) Acetaldehyde + NADH + H+ -> Ethanol + NAD+ (10)

Thanks!

(edit - I have to explain why the pathways are important, not pick one :smile: )

I think it may be C, as ethanol is produced? Ethanol is made from NADH being oxidised, forming NAD+ which can then go back and oxidise triose phosphate which phosphorylates ADP to form ATP(the main point of anaerobic respiration)?

If NAD+ isnt regenerated, then anaerobic respiration would cease wouldnt it?
