£6.19 for a 19 year old in a bar is quite good going, considering it's the NMW for a 21 year old. As for drinking on the job, why would you want to do that anyway?

I am 18 years old, I earn £4.98 an hour and I am a Retail Assitant at The Range in one of their South West stores. For the amount of running around I do and effort I put in, I think the pay is pretty crap but it was the only place that would hire me.

Tesco's pay is the best out of any supermarkets at the moment.

High Street Restaurant chain (i work as a barman/runner so do not get direct table tips)
£4.98 an hour plus tips that my colleagues decide to give me (ranges from £1-£12 a shift)

I earn £12 an hour, 37.5 hours a week... Some large global company, but my office is based in Surrey.
