Hi,
My name is Anab. I am 17 years of age and have joined TSR to have conversations with like minded individuals and ask information about University places.
I want to go into Nursing: adult, child or mental I am not sure.
I have a number of questions.
How do I write a good personal statement???
How do I ensure that I really want to pursue a career into Nursing??

Firstly you need to be sure that it really is something you would like to do, I would suggest trying to get some work experience in health centres, hospitals, care homes etc work experience of some sort is a must now as the courses are so competitive now especially child and mental health as there are fewer places for these two.

Experience will definitely help you decide if you want to do it, try hospices, nursing homes or hospitals. Perhaps start off with some volunteering and see if you like it or not.
