Was that a reference to me? I was irritated at myself not the interviewer, although it was more intense than I expected. I think interviews can be too 'warm and cuddly' which encourages students to be too comfortable and not push themselves. I did quite like how my interviewer cut through the bs, I was just annoyed at how I reacted on the day!

i don't know if it was a reference to you, i've seen a lot of people complaining about tough interviews. if you complained about tough interviews it probably referenced you, if you complained about yourself it didn't. can't be bothered to find your post.

I think the interviewers I had were quite intense, the lady especially.

She was a specialist on Emily Dickinson and I wrote about in it my PS and she started asking me about specific lines in a poem and I panicked because I couldn't remember it fully. That then led to me panicking throughout the whole thing and doubting my own opinion. They asked me about my one AS text; a book I her recently been reading and Beowulf. Some sections were fine, I knew the answers, but the way I answered them was very bad. Kept going back in circles and going off topic and asking the interviewer to repeat the question.

I understand they had to challenge me but it was quite scary ahaha. Sure I didn't get in!

If they've already made you offers, then I'm pretty sure they want you to enroll with them this coming September so there wouldn't be a need for interviews

Yes, but my offer from Exeter is A*AA, same as Durham. I am going to firm Durham.

All I know about Grey is it's on the Hill (the best place to have a college obvs). I have a friend who's a fresher there and he seems to be loving it there :smile:
