can a college tell you you cant do a subject

soo torn on what to do ... I've just been rejected by the college to study biology along side my 3 A2 subjects (maths, chemistry and physics) they said that they would advice me not to because if i do then i wont cope with the workload and it will prove to damage the grades of my other A2 subject. On the other hand, biology would help my process to university and i think i could pull it off but don't know whether to take the opinion of the teacher feeling confused.

It's only worth doing if you think you can do it and put up with the workload, IMO I think those three are pretty tough to do but maybe two of them are worth doing... Basically what your passion lies in pursue those subjects... What career path do you want to take?

I did 6 A-Levels in one go and I did just fine (not perfect) but I got into my first choice uni!

I did:
Law: A*
Childcare: A*
Psychology: B
Sociology:C
Philosophy: A
Ethics: A

I did just fine! so if you feel you can do it then go for it! It is possible!
