Sociology Current or graduates - can you help?

I need to know the answer to these questions by thursday, can anyone help me by any chance?

How is the course delivered (lectures, seminars, labs)?

Is there any fieldwork?

Do you need to go on a placement?

How are you assessed?

Do you need to use any particular equipment or software?

How does the workload change over the course?

How much reading will you need to do?

How many teaching hours are there?

Do tutors expect students to use email and online resources?

I'm a Sociology UG. Althought I do joint honours, so miss out on 2 modules per semister. So I'll answer where I can.

1). All 3 methods. Generally you will have 5 soci modules per term (2 terms or'teaching periods' each year). You will have 1 hour of lecture and 1 hour or seminar per module per week, with the exeption of research methods in period 2 (jan-may) when you will have labs.

2). Not really, although there is a few practice exercises in both research method mods TP1/2

3) It's not complusory but the chance is there.

4). exam, essay, class test and research project.

5). Researcm methods in TP2 needs IPSS software

6). No its consistant throughout

7). between 20-50 pages a week per module if your going to stay straight with your studies

8). Answered in Q1

9). Yes it's a must. All of the class content is online, they don't like to print out the paper themselves. Its your responsibility to check before each lecture, if you need to bring print outs to class. Some lectures are recorded and put online incase it contains inportant info, lecturers hate repeating themselves.
