Questions about studying Japanese at Oxford/Cambrdige?

I'm in lower 6th thinking of doing Japanese at university, and I'm currently looking at Oxford and Cambridge, trying to see how they differ when it comes to Japanese. Other than the fact that Oxford spend the 2nd year in Japan and Cambridge the 3rd, does anyone know of any other big differences between both courses? Also, if anyone is at either of them wold you mind telling me how the course is split up, how Japanese is learnt, how many kanji you learn(can't find this anywhere) and how you're enjoying it! Thanks a lot!!!
