Spelling mistake in email!

Hey guys, I'm not entirely sure I've actually posted this in the correct section!

I have applied for St Andrews, for geology, but I was recently awarded a gap year scholarship by the Royal Geographical Society, and had to email St Andrews about the possibility of now deferring.

Only problem is, I had checked the email but as soon as I sent it I realised the stupidest spelling mistake ever which I think my iPad auto-corrected! Instead of saying 'hear' it read 'here'.

Anyone think I've messed up my chances of my dream university? :/

Thanks in advance!

This. Everyone makes typos and I am confident that something as small as that will not even really be noticed let alone affect your chances of being accepted

If St Andrews rejects you because you misspelled a word, I don't think you want to be going there.
St Andrews accept high quality candidates. Making simple spelling mistakes may hinder your chances of being made an offer.
