Yeah, the people who stood up against the Blackshirts at the Battle of Cable Street were fascists too right?

The UAF are dog-whistle types, a bit thuggish and making mountains out of molehills but not fascists

There are several definitions of what fascism is. You have just typed in fascism and read the first few lines of a Wikipedia article .... Well done you

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/fascism

a governmental system led by a dictator having complete power, forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism, regimenting all industry, commerce, etc., and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and often racism.

http://www.thefreedictionary.com/fascism

A system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, stringent socioeconomic controls, suppression of the opposition through terror and censorship, and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism.

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/fascism

a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition

There seems to be a bit of a trend here...

By opposing freedom of speech you are being fascist hence the irony.

You're being an authoritarian, but not necessarily a fascist. For example, Saudi Arabia has virtually no freedom of speech, and nor did the Soviet Union, but no-one considers them to be fascist societies.
