AS AQA English Literature - Stuggle for Identity in modern literature

Exam tomorrow -
Anyone fancy sharing ideas or notes on feminine gospels or how to tackle the contextual linking question?
Good luck everyone!
The first poem that comes to mind for identity is definitely 'anon' because it seems to describe women who are getting into higher paid roles to keep under a pseudonym or are deemed too insignificant because of their gender.it's quite provocative in a childish like manner at the end because the females described throughout the text cannot reveal their identities as a way of reserving their right to have higher roles in society. The long queen links to identity because it describes Queen Elizabeth 1st but doesn't include her name because she was frowned upon as a female ruler. Map woman because she struggles to face who she is, her past and where she comes from but reconnects with her former life and self by the end of the poem. In this way, she accepts herself and rewards her hardships as a way of moving forward. Beautiful- again it doesn't explicitly give the names of the females described (Helen of Troy, Cleopatra, Marylin Monroe, Princess Diana) however, it shows that the women used their characteristics and their uniqueness to emphasis their power and develop them for personal gain. Unfortunately, society gets the better of them as shown in the last stanzas of each inside story as they were never accepted through some aspects of society as they never behaved as the conventional idol in each position and that the power that they had eventually took control of them. Only to name a few but more than enough points. Hope this helps someone in future!
