A2 biology coursework preparation!!!

So me and my class when to a field/park and we basically did two experiments and one of them was the comparison of two sites trampled and non trampled. In my pilot study I have to explain how I choose which site was trampled and non trampled.I need help wording this. So we basically decided that trampled site would be the one close to a pathway were people walk over that site so its more trampled , and the other site is non trampled as in its in the centre of park or not close to a pathway?. How do I explain this in an simple matter 3 sentences would do. Thank you
