Yes actual contracting was fine, it's like a seat belt tightening over your belly and it gradually gets more & more intense. I had whats deemed a good labour I had no pain relief the worst part was when her head crowned but it was fine.

This is utter nonsense. Sure, in some situations, yes it is a bad idea. But if they two people are married and they were intending and planning on having a family, then it's a great thing.
