Wow well done  Tbh, I have been through quite low times and social anxiety. I have actually witnessed becoming light headed in so many socially demanding occasions, so if yours was to the extent that it you express it was, you've done amazingly. I think for me, at first I had some terrible coping mechanisms, but then I got into music and i think that helped to build a 'don't give a f*** attitude' Of course there will always be some days where you question whether its just a facade, but the only way to get through it was putting a brave face on haha! I'm in sixth form now, and oddly I am socialising more than my noisy peers (yay)

Well done, glad your doing well. my family dont believe me and think im still bunking off but idgaf, my plan is to leave and go uni
Okay, I have a plan but you need to trust me on this. The reason you have social anxiety is because there are demonic forces that live inside you, that want you to fail in life and to be miserable. That's why you get nervous around other people. Thankfully there is a solution. My friend, you need to undergo exorcism.

EDIT: My 911th post. Spooky :iiam:

Okay, everyone will disagree with me but I'm going to suggest something different (that you've already mentioned, actually) - alcohol. If you get relatively intoxicated the first few days of college it will make things a bit less overwhelming. Eventually you will become more settled in as things become routine and predictable, and you can start relying on the alc less and less to the point where you no longer need it. The first time I pulled a girl from a club I was drunk as **** and feeling very confident. We met up at a later date, but I was nervous and intoxicated myself again (not to the point where she would have noticed). By about the forth time meeting her I was comfortable being sober. See, if alcohol didn't exist that would've never happened.

Just realized your later posts and this is no longer relevant. Oh well.

I know your joking but the whole demonic forces is defo true. I tried exorcism several times... I ended up pretending because the pastor just wants his own way lol.
Dude. Calm your sphincter and stop feeling sorry for yourself.

NEVER.
Please don't drink in College, the other pupils and tutors will be able to smell it from a mile off and it can result in you getting kicked out again. Please try to give therapy another try and stick to it, because The Student Room isn't a very reliable place to get advice for this kind of stuff, a professional would seem like a much better idea. Talk to your GP.

I won't drink in college or look for therapy because for a very strange reason my anxiety has vanished in college as i now know how it feels to be in social in college. BUT i would be prepared, if my new friends realise what a **** i am or if everybody suddenly turns on me, then yes alcohol would come to me.

Well, just carry on as you are. Social Anxiety doesn't make you a bad person, and even if people thought that, very few would turn on you, so to say. Best of luck with everything and just enjoy your time in college!

Just an update (failed miserably trying to get answers from being anoymous) I have lost the battle, I now feel like i do not belong in the course. I think i should either seek a church which specialises in exorcisms, or to start drinking wkd bottles.

My parents are also being stupid, telling me to quit to do a trade, That will never happen as this is depression, it will effect me wherever i go.

I'm also thinking of living a lonely life, just by myself idk. main issue is im bunking too much and im losing attendance, please help me

You're talking about getting yourself exorcised. I don't think your parents are the ones being stupid here.

My parents i saying this in a mocking tone, i don't want to live at this house by September 2015 otherwise i will actually kill myself.

Yes Deliverance exorcism service is what im thinking but perhaps i would need to make another piss taking thread on the religion page for that

No its not. I used to go to a controversial evangicial church where they did deliverance service every week, but i was not committed to it hence why i failed.

me and the GP are not friends. end off.
