Probably about 20 hours a week on top of timetabled contact hours.
Reply 2
how many hours are usually in the timetable?
Reply 3
Depends on the week/module etc - anything from about 20 to 30.
Reply 4
Also depends on how much you want to do and whether it's marked on attendance...

we have around 20ish timetabled hours & are expected to put in the same amount of study time ... exam revision weeks (known as holidays to most people) are a different matter :frown:

In years 1 and 2 all our exams are either on the last day of a module, or on the last day of term, to ensure we actually get a break. BL rocketh!

At kings we have about 20 timetabled hours and were expected to do an extra 2 or 3 hours a night at least... in practice this rarely happened, and we tended to prepare the minimum amount of work until a month before exams where we worked like beasts.
