Hello guys.
I applied to UCL one of engineering degree.
Their requirements are AAAa and 6.5overall, 6 each in ielts.
It seems that it is too hard for me to get 6 in writing.
Although i miss points in ielts, would i still be able to get in?? With extra eng lectures or wtever the method is

as long as u get the As then it's fine, they shouldn't be that critical on that

You guys should check if your courses are in clearing. I applied for civil engineering. Mechanical and aeronautical aren't in clearing but civil is so I have slight hope. Also It'd help if your A is in a relevant subject. I need AAB but I'd much prefer achieving ABC to the inevitable BBB I'm going to get. I feel so average at everything

Honestly i'm kind of pissed off by this thread because I needed A*AB for my UCL offer with an A* in maths, I ended up with AAA and didn't get in.
Aaand now I'm scared again

Unis are very strict about English language requirements - if anything it's the opposite.

Honestly depends on the uni and the space available.
My cousin had an A*AA offer and he managed to get A*A*B but he didn't get in because he didn't get the A in the required subject. However, my friends brother (or relative forgot lol) had an offer of ABB and he got BBB but still managed to get in. They both applied for different unis.
