I failed my AS's and now I don't think I can do the course I want, help!

I messed up my AS exams because I didn't revise anywhere near as much as I shoud've done. I really want to study optometry, is there any sort of foundation year or something or should I just give up and chose a different subject to study?? :frown:

Why not resit?

Don't worry OP, I'm resitting some modules in my gap year after getting my A2 results, and I called up some Optometry unis to ask if they consider resitters and the majority of them do :smile:

So if they're fine with A2 resitters, they'll be fine with AS ones! Plus, other factors such as work experience are important for your application too, not just the grades!
