If you're a home student you won't hear a decision until late January. Right now St. A's is only handing out offers to internationals.

Sorry couldn't say, I had just finished my interviews at Oxford and had a UCAS update, it was an offer of a place to study MChem.

I thought it may be Durham as i wasn't expecting St A's so soon

So one would presume the Chemistry department is sending UK offers out now.

Received an offer to read chemistry yesterday. Was on my way home from Oxford interviews and so thought "Jeez they were quick to reject me", referring to Oxford. I honestly thought St. Andrews interviewed chemistry candidates.

No, no. My post was confusing. I received an email whilst travelling home from Oxford saying that a change to Track had occurred. I thought it was a rejection from Oxford, but it was an offer from St. Andrews. Oxford will reject me in January.
