See, when whites want to be around their own kind, it is blasted as racism.

What is 'goray', by the way?

I would not see race as an issue. It may enable you to meet a wider range of people, experiences and cultures.
I would love to go somewhere in which i was in the minority and got to learn about how other people view things. That’s why i am going to hopefully go and study abroad for a semester or a year so i can do this myself. Hope this helps.

Why let someting like race/relgion decide where you're going to study.

Loughborough has societies for people to meet similar people from the same species such as paki-soc and the Islamic Society.

Shouldn' really try to segregate yourself from others especially the goray bhenchods.

Halmal, If you like loughborough apply,
if you want to network with fellow pakistani's then set up a society, there's an indian one, a korean one, a chinese one etc etc.
Of course some uni's will already have one but seems a shame not to go somewhere you like and that specialises in an area you like for a reason such as this.

if you like art and are thinking of fashion, then demontfort in leicester does the best shoe design and contour fashion courses in the country and is one of the most ethically diverse.

That is certainly not true in the case of art subjects as there are many Asians who commute from Leicester and Derby to study Graphics, Art Foundation etc etc. I studied Graphics, there's a fair share of international students too from likes of Bahrain and India. Ethnic Minorities shouldn't put you off from applying for a course - there's always ISA (International Students Association who welcome those students who are from other ethnic backgrounds, even though they're not internation) and Clubs and Socs also do a great job in getting people from different people of enthnic backgorunds and interests together! Hope that helps!

You can apply to six places, so make Loughborough one of them if you think you might enjoy it, and then see what offer you get and go have a look around. You don't have to narrow down to your first and insurance choice for a while after all.

you know white people would never get away with saying that.
Choose to go where you think is best for your future, you'll get to meet a wider range of people, not just stick in your own clan
Reply 13
yeah agreed, white people would be imprisoned for that.

General advice here is go where you want, I think that wherever you go people are gona be ace and if noone is into the stuff you like, such as Bollywood, then I'm sure you could persuade some of your new mates to watch a film or two to see if they like it.

People are pretty open minded, you should be too.
