Are most of your uni friends from your halls?

I'm commuting so I just want to know how much harder it is to make friends when you're not living in the halls. Would you say most of your friends are from classes/societies or from the floor you lived on in ramsay/arthur tattersall, ect.

I have two friends who went to UCL, in first year one lived in halls and one commuted, both made many friends on their courses (Medicine and Languages). They are both very outgoing and have no problems going up and speaking to people.

Most of my UCL friends are from the societies.

Same (in number). Made my closest friends in halls though.
