but i do agree some people just aren't worth knowing

It's ok, i'm much more confident with myself, uni helped that a lot, i've always been a geek; i wouldn't class myself as really smart (although a lot of people say that i am) i'd say i've average really

Not all girls hate nerdy guys just like not all guys like blondes. I personally prefer smart and 'geeky' guys. What society calls geeky, I would call cool tbh.
