Ball ticket & platinum extra?

Hi,

Does anyone know for sure whether ball tickets (wherein you are able to see Shift K3y, example etc.) are definitely going to be available after platinum extra has sold out?

Don't know whether platinum extra will be worth it as im not sure how often i'll be going out?

I'm pretty sure that there are other tickets available apart from the Platinum related ones, but be warned! They go like hot cakes, so keep an eye out for release information on the facebook groups etc.

There is a breakdown as to what you get from Platinum and Platinum Extra at http://www.lsu.co.uk/platinum which gives you an idea as to what you're paying for. Essentially, you'll save at least about three pounds on every Union night out you go to over the entire year if you get Extra (free/discounted entry + drinks savings) if you want a very rough yardstick to work by. On top of that you get a Freshers Ball ticket (£39) and other nice bits and pieces.
