The quadratic equation 2x(2) + 5x + k = 0 has equal roots. Find the value of k.

If it has equal roots, the value b^2-4ac must equal to 0.
Substitute b^2-4ac=0 with appropriate values in the quadratic

No I'm currently doing C1 and M1 for normal maths, and FP1with D1 for Further maths. Will start S1 after D1.
I didn't like stats at GCSE though... D1 is crap as well. Easy but tedious and boring and repetitive :unimpressed:
