retaking AS after A2

Hi!
I was wondering if you could retake an AS module after your A2s?
In English lit AS i got a lowish B and really want an A overall for uni. I could of course retake the AS coursework and exam alongside A2 but that seems a bit daunting. Could I take a year out after year 13 and retake my AS coursework/exam to boost my grade up?
