how come yours was 1h 20 mins? the limit is 30 mins!

The examiner evidently didn't care.

He was one of the Senior IB examiners, plus I think the 30min thing is an advisory thing...

This examiner put a limit on it at 1 hour, but I was the last candidate, and he said that he wished he could talk with me all day, but he needs to be fair on the rest. Needless to say, we spoke for a further 20 minutes!!

The IB Art exam is not stressful at all! The only stressful part about it is the IA, but not the actual exam! It really is basically a low-pressure interview, where the examiner asks you to talk about your work and how you have grown as an artist. I took mine today!
