Ancient history degree (classics) employability?

Hi there

So eventually I started uni (Nottingham university) doing biology but switched in the first 3 weeks to ancient history, nuts I know.

i decided to opt for something I would enjoy, over a subject I have limited interest for but chose for mostly employability reasons.

Was this a poor decision? Is ancient history a respected degree?
I love the course but am terrified about my future.

thanks guys

I'm not sure to be honest. I'm interested in seeing what others say. What were you thinking of doing with it?

Teaching/lecturing not entirely sure. Maybe something completely unrelated. However I chose the degree as i think if you choose a degree you love, you're more likely to do well.

But I may be naive,
