Can anyone please help me out with how to be more evaluative in essay responses?

I struggle to push my marks up that little bit more because of it.

I'd appreciate any advice and example sentences :smile:

evaluation is about identifying the strengths and weaknesses so why not do that and then compare and contrast them to one another?

What I gathered from it is basically saying how good the technique is. So what I would do is something like "Bronte's powerful use of..."

I did this essay but I'm not sure how good it is :/
