International student getting EU citizenship

As an international student in first year, would my fee status change if I were to acquire EU citizenship before second year?

No. Your fee status is determined by residency - how long you've lived in the EU or UK - not your citizenship.

To get EU fee status, you must have lived in the EU for a full three years before the start of your course. If you were assessed as being liable for International fees at the start of your first year, this wouldn't change if you got EU citizenship during your course.
