Trade Mark Attorney?
Is anyone looking to go into / know much about this career path?
I'm a second year LLB student...I previously wanted to be a solicitor but with the amount of effort it takes to get into the profession (i.e. academically, work experience, fierce competition etc.) I'm questioning whether it's really worth it. I've been looking at alternative paths and the career of a trademark attorney seems interesting.
I've looked on the ITMA website which explains the training process. But my main question is: how much experience is required before a firm takes you on as a trainee? (i.e. to become a solicitor it seems you need tons of vac/work experience before getting a TC - is this profession the same?)
