Should I quit my work and focus on my exams or try manage both

Hey, so I currently multi task 2 things. Trading and my work, without a doubt this has taken a toll on my results however I did make around 90k last year so I am debating whether it is worth it. A part of me just wants to quit, focus on my exams then maybe reinvest and continue at a later date. That seems like the smart thing to do as I am nearing the end of my A-Levels, however the money is just to good for me to part ways, I have done it before but went back to it months later. But then a part of me wants to try hard, go to University to study business, make friends ( I have zero social life right now) then, maybe pick back up my projects then with the money I have taken out.

Please can people give me advice on what to do, I have been thinking and thinking about this for the last week. For reference on the 2 things I do is, trading and marketing. The trading has me sat Infront of my computer all day running programs, the marketing is a bit more relaxed however only pays me about 1.5k per month so not as worth my time.

Thanks.

Several comments/questions:

1.

That's quite impressive

2.

Have you considered asking your broker to continue trading on your behalf? It's usually an available full on service

3.

Have you considered algorithmic trading?

4.

How much money did you started off with in your trading and who did you learn from, if you're willing to say?

5.

If you have decided to park the money somewhere, do you have any investments in mind?

6.

Considering that you made 90K in one year, your tax bill is going to be sizeable. Have you spoken to a financial advisor or accountant regarding this?

7.

What sort of marketing do you do? Or rather, what sort of business do you run? How did you get started and who did you learn from?

8.

What do you intend to do after uni?

9.

Why study business out of all subjects? What's the purpose of the degree?

I usually would prioritise the A Levels over the money. However, I also know that I have the choice to delegate or invest the funds elsewhere so it's not like you have to compromise a lot. If I intend to do the A Levels once, I would actually do them properly. The money can always wait.

I would also consider the social life that you get in college and uni to be more important than making money. However, you don't always need a lot of money to have a social life (and it's also really not recommended to showcasing how much you have either).

As you have started a business and made so much progress with trading, I would very much doubt you would have any problems getting a job in a business related area after uni. The A Levels and degree would be a bonus, but the employers would care about your business and trading activities more than your academics if you're going into business.

As with anything related to finance: I am not a finance professional and none of the above constitutes as financial advice. If you are seeking financial advice, speak to a qualified finance professional.

Thank you

2.

I trade digital items via casinos, it's not your "typical type of "trading" so it wouldn't be possible unless I set up an automated system (will take a lot of work)

3.

I have, however I have never been exposed to the crypto/stock etc markets. Only a niche market which I am in.

4.

I started with $500 and to be exact have $97500 right now, if I do cashout my trading accounts I may have around $96,500 after fees. I learnt from a friend who did similar, he quit and trades a different way now. He has also suggested I just take a few months off and maybe grind in summer (I think this is a decent idea to make some more money before UNI I know one guy who does it like this) let me know what you think about that

5.

I have some bitcoin, eth. But mainly just have the funds in "stablecoins" usdt and usdc. Some in my bank also, will open an investment account soon and maybe buy some stocks.

6.

I have spoken to an accountant, I will be able to pay taxes no problem.

7.

I don't really run my own business, I just traded for fun and it kept escalating, I really lost track of the value of money. I do marketing for a website and deal with the social medias, influencer relations etc.

8.

Honestly not sure, up until a few weeks ago I didn't really want to go to university (I applied already in case though) I probably would want to travel for a bit, maybe continue trading online.

9.

I enjoy it, have a bit of experience that may help me. I am not a very academic person so don't really feel like I can shoot for much better. I think it would be fun and may give me some experience which can translate into my personal endeavours.

I agree with the social life part of UNI/COLLEGE. I have been online schooled for a few years, so UNI is something I would look forward too.

Thanks for the questions, made myself think through my actions aswell.

Thanks for the reply.

1.

So, is this mainstream betting? I was a bit confused with how trading is associated with casinos

2.

Impressive

3.

Consider speaking to a regulated financial/investment advisor. Probably can show you a large range of investment products than a bank or a brokerage can. Putting money into crypto and stocks might be a bit risky if you don't have any experience in it or if you do it without and advisor or someone with experience.

Perhaps you are aware of the gaming platform 'steam' I trade items via this platform. I allowed a way for gamblers to withdraw from the gambling website (with mark up percent) I would then get a balance on site and could buy the items gamblers would deposit. I was able to do this once a week when (the items are locked for 7 days).

2.

Thanks, I have actually taken your advice on board, really appreciate the reply. I have started withdrawing my last trading account assets fully.

3.

Thanks I will, I am very interested in bitcoin and the s and p 500. I will defo need a tax advisor.
