Hi,
i have applied for student finance but on the parent email you have to mention your household earnings. I live with my mother and my grandad. However we pay rent to my grandad and he doesn't contribute to my living. Do I need to include his earnings?

Student finance normally take household to mean parents. If your mother can offer official proof she is not living with your father such as a decree nisi (divorce certificate) then student finance will only assess your mums income. Otherwise your dad will need to provide evidence of his income for you to be means tested. Your granddads income shouldn't count.
