General studies is a subject that tests your english, math, and science skills. You can't study for those exams. English and Science papers, they give you a passage and you answer questions. Math, they give you questions at math GCSE and A-level types of questions. You don't learn anything. In my school, we just did mock papers and talk about what is happening in the world/current events and all those kinds of stuff.

General Studies is a subject which requires little or no real learning, its like general knowledge. You might have to take it, it depends on your school. You do have exams in it. In fact, i have an exam this monday. Oh fun.

I've had three one hour lessons in a year on the scientific domain in which i learnt nothing. So the answer is no, but you can't really revise for it anyway. It's not like the other subjects at all.

Most people do the first three at GCSE, it's not a cop out, it's almost a refresher course to keep your basic skills up.

haha, that would be quite a mean feat, considering that half the people in my 6th form can't do maths, science, read or write.
