I forgot to cancel my student finance application after missing grades for uni

Hey,

For 2014-15 cycle my application to Student Finance was approved but I ended up not meeting my offer so didn't actually go to University. I am now applying for student finance for 2015-2016 cycle and upon doing so realised that I never actually cancelled my previous application :s-smilie:

Although my previous application was approved, I never sent my national insurance number or declaration form to SFE, and as far as I'm aware I have not received any loans etc, so my main question is: will the fact that I didn't cancel my old application affect me this time round?

I have just submitted my new application to SFE for medicine at Exeter, and just wanted to know if my previous application will give me any issues?

Hello Dr. Django,

This should not affect your new application as you did not attend, however this may have prompted you to apply as a returning student which would be incorrect.
