When do you plan on leaving home/when did you leave home?

Poll

When will you leave home/when did you leave home?

Home meaning family home or wherever you grew up.

If you didn't/aren't going to uni and are leaving/left in between 18-21, then select 16-18.
If you left home midway through uni i.e. didn't go 'home' in summer/easter/christmas, then also selected 16-18
Pick age over reasoning... the reasoning is there just as an add-on.

Didn't want to make the poll too complicated. Interested myself as to how long I am going to wait until I move into some lad pad with mates after I'm done studying, maybe a year into my first job. And how that compares with others.

The poll is really confusing. Age doesn't relate to reason. I'm 20, but in the poll the marriage reason is for people in their 30s.

I'm planning to marry next summer. If I could I'd do it this summer. :emo:

Age is the main reason for the poll... the reasoning is just an add-on.

Oh yeah, I forgot to add my age is missing
I put 16-18 because the poll age doesn't go low enough.

Left for uni with not intention of moving back
i origonally left home at 20, then moved in with my parents when i moved to the UK until about 27. Im 33 and have had my own place ever since.

I know

OP I moved into my first place at 16 if that helps, so 16-18 is sort of correct

I didn't want to leave lol
I guess there are three possible dates which I could consider as "moving out."

Left for uni at 19, but due to 8 week terms spent almost as long back at home as at uni.

When I started clinical years at 22 - terms got longer so I was away much more than I was at home. Also moved out of halls and into a shared flat, which was more "grown up," I guess.

When I finally graduated, moved in with my boyfriend (now husband) and started work, aged 25.

Looking back, I think that the change into clinical years was probably when I "moved out," especially considering how I got treated during the holidays - switched from being part of the family and having to muck in with everything, to being a guest and having my mum run round after me! At the time it didn't feel very significant though.

Left at 19 and never looked back. My parent now live abroad...so I guess there is no going back anyway.
Really want to move out after I finish university.
I don't want to live in Oxford my whole life. I have a vision of living up north :L.

That's rather superficial, surely?
I predict about 23ish.
