Further details: Mature student going back into education having been self-employed for the last twelve years. Really looking forward to getting back into an academic environment after studying part-time whilst still working!

Additional Maths FSMQ: A
AS-Level: AAAB in History, Economics, Spanish and Maths respectively
A-Level: A*AAA - A* in History
Further details: Missed the A by a few marks at AS, my teacher won't predict me an A*. The B grade was not what I was expecting.

Does anyone still think I should still apply for Economics at UCL ?

Try and squeeze out the A* prediction, their FAQ says you're not advised to apply without it:

At my school they only predict A*s for people that got > 90 UMS in AS

A-Level predictions: A*A*A*A* predicted, plus A* in the Extended Project.
Further Details: Head Boy at my school. Grew up across Latin America and the Middle East.

I got rejected at this uni it still annoys me :P

GCSE equivs: 3A*s 5As
Scottish Higher: AABBC
Scottish Advanced Higher (ext. circumstances): BC(80% in exam, fail in coursework) D (95% in the exam, fail in speaking/coursework)
Subjects: Maths, Further Maths, Economics
One year A-level (predictions): A*A*A
Further details: founded a tech startup at MIT and ran it for a year, run a web dev/design consulting firm, run a tutoring organisation, Gold CREST award for computer vision research, Gold Maersk award for community impact

They don't, only Cambridge do. I'm applying for Econ too!

Yeah got the same email, I've put mine on ucas as well so I'm not replying (as instructed in the email) :smile:
