do wearing briefs hinder chances of getting pregant?

I am 28 years old and I have always worn them never worn boxers because they are comfortable and offer support, but I have read loads of negative things about how they are bad for sperm levels which can be an issue during pregancy is this actually true and is there any evidence to support this theory because surely that underwear cannot reduce sperm
Well, you certainly won't get pregnant  and sperm levels are not an issue once a partner is pregnant.

It's the temperature that's the issue. Testes work best, in terms of sperm production, if they are slightly cooler than the normal 37.2 or so degrees C body temperature. Hence them getting lower in your scrotum when you're hot and higher when it's cold: it's temperature regulation at work.

If they are too close to your body, because you're wearing briefs, for example, then they'll be warmer than the optimum. That will affect sperm levels to some degree (sorry!) but it's not yet a reliable method of contraception.
