Future Classics - what will we still be playing in 10/20/50 years?

What songs from the last few years or even months will we still be playing far into the future?

Just like how we still play and listen to Queen, Oasis and Michael Jackson?

-

I reckon David Zowie - House Every Weekend will still be played at clubs on teenies-nights in the far future.

I also hope these are still played:

I'm thinking George Ezra's stuff like Budapest and blame it on me. Very good songs, and they're very different to the sort of stuff which is usually high in the charts. For that reason I think they're going to be remembered.
None because the music industry is in more of a mess than it's ever been. As Morrissey says quite rightly, the public are force fed the likes of Sam Smith - just about the most boring thing I've ever heard in my life.

I could see Happy by Pharell Williams being well know in 10 years.
However I could also see it dieing out and never being played again
Anaconda
Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke instantly springs to mind

Idk there's so much music that's being made, and will be made, that it's hard to say. Especially when you consider how many hipster wannabes there are that hate on anything from the current generation.. On that note, the huge amount of genres nowadays compared to back then makes it even harder to pick an overall classic
Thinking out loud, it's already a really popular wedding song.

I hope not! :frown:

In all honesty, I can't pick out any stand out songs that will be well known in 10 years time.
Now I definitely agree with you there
