OXford Cambridge tied at 2, hence no 3.

hey the table that CT has given puts City near the bottom but why does it exclude CASS?

bah, now I'm in a dilema dealing with the decision between Nottingham or KCL (for BA Management hoping to enter IB after).

Go with KCL due to location or Nottingham for its general higher reputation? Opinions would be appreciated CityTrader.

I think uni or course doesn't matter so much. If yur good yur good doesn't matter where u went or what u studied.

Just leave the talking to those who know what they're saying. If you want to learn, listen, but don't believe what you want to believe.

I'm afraid he's right J-man. Just because people have established on this forum that you can get into IB without a top 6 degree if you're really good, doesn't mean all of a sudden all unis are equal.

If youre good you wont be on a ****e course at a ****e uni.

I'm afraid that's garbage, hence why some people do get into IB from less reputable unis.

City Trader, I intend to do a degree in Audiology BSc at either Bristol or UCL and I want to go into the finance sector after graduating. Do I need to do another degree or is audiology ok?

Thanks in advance

CASS is postgrads only, my table is for 3-4yr 1st degrees. I've added in that if you do a CASS MSc after your degree that'll probably place you on par with KCL/Bris/Notts. That's assuming your undergrad degree isn't at too great a place hence you're having to do the MSc.

If you want to go into Finance why would you do an Audiology degree? It's fine to do a well known, traditional subject like History or Law then go into IB, but Audiology is too specific, you'd have to do a MSc afterwards most likely.

Cass has undergrad degrees too. Very specialised and focused though, like Bsc. Investment and Financial Risk Management.

Yeah the undergrad degrees are s***e, really bad rep, hard to get in with just that, but their MSc program is respected.

ok thanks for the reply
What about any other lucrative jobs in the finance sector other than IB that I would be able to get into with this degree?

CT mate, any chance of getting into the finance sector with a computer science degree, from a university such as UCL?

As soon as CityTrader makes an appearance he gets shot down with questions, most of which can be adequately answered by researching this forum.

You've been told this before. Yes! Jesus... I don't know why and some other people bother if people will keep second guessing...
