spearman's is a value which represents the strength of correlation between two sets of data.

do you mean illustrating your data with a line of regression, which is an accurate line of best fit, so there is equal distance between each piece of data from the line?

Hi there, im doing my A2 coursework (AQA) on the matching hypothesis and ive got my results and worked out the spearmans rank and got a number but then im meant to put this on a line of significance or something...can anyone give me more info on how to do this? ive been pretty brief here i no but any help would do! thanks!

Plot out your results on a scatterplot. If you found a significant relationship (either positive or negative) then draw the line of best fit, as described above. If you found no significant relationship (r = 0) then no line is needed as it would mean nothing.
