Hi glo420,

As a former UWE Bristol student, I may be a bit biased:h: but I have really enjoyed my experience here. I moved to Bristolfrom Leeds and the thought of making new friends was scary, but living inBrecon Court, one of the halls of residence, and the variety of activitiesorganised during Fresher’s Week, I quickly realised making friends wouldn’t bethat difficult.

Yes, UWE have a diverse community I joined the basketballteam which has a diverse group of players and meant I got to meet a lot ofdifferent types of people from those on my course. UWE societies and networks providea great environment for students to socialise and meet people there is nevera dull moment.

As part of my dissertation, I had to speak to UWE studentsabout their university experience the thing that really stood out to me was howhighly students rated their lecturers.

Hopefully, you will get a few more replies so you don’t haveto take my word for it.

Which courses are you interested in studying?

If you mean 'ethnically diverse', yes. As is Bristol itself.
