I received an offer from Aston Business School last week, after 2 weeks of applying and then received an e-mail today congratulating me (again) on my offer and saying "we were very impressed by your application," and then going on say that they know that even the very best candidates have off days etc, and due to that in previous years they've accepted students who have fallen short of their predicted grades, "this is especially the case if you pick Aston as your firm choice,"
I was wondering whether this was a general e-mail to receive post-offer and if not what exactly did this mean? Thank you.
