Oxford Application 2016: reading recommendations

I intend to apply to Oxford for Law (with Law studies in Germany) this year and understand the different components necessary to have a competitive application: strong GCSE, AS and predicted grades, a passion for the subject, a good LNAT score, and a good interview.

I am however at a loss for any extra reading I could be doing; I initially tried reading the undergraduate summer reading list, but that was predominantly the practical aspects of learning the law, and no legal knowledge is necessary for the interview. I was therefore wondering whether anybody had any reading recommendations for law related but slightly more abstract books (Tom Bingham's The Rule of Law, for example).

I am also interested to see whether there are any 'canonical' law-related books, given my general ignorance when it comes to legal based literature.
