Best accommodation for KCL?

I'm having a really hard time finding one that's close to both Waterloo and Guys!

I really want one with good socialising, ensuite and something that doesn't look as bad as wolfson house!! (I was terrified when I visited it)

Can I have help for some KCL students please?!
Hi Soha!

You are welcome to contact our residences team and have a chat about the different residences and which one is best for where and what you'd like. You can either call or email the team on +44 (0) 207 848 1790 / [email protected]

The following map might be useful as it lists which of the residences are located between Waterloo and Guy's, that way you can narrow down and read up on those ones: http://www.kcl.ac.uk/study/accommodation/residences/index.aspx

Something else that might be really helpful is our Accommodation Live Chats, which will be taking place from March 10, where you can ask any questions about our residences. You can find out more about these here: http://www.kcl.ac.uk/study/visit/online.aspx

Best wishes

Hi Soha,

Moonraker would be your best option as it is in between Guy's and Waterloo. It should take you about 10-15mins to walk to either campus from there. It was my first option but I ended up going for a private hall instead.

I hope this answers your question. Sorry I can't help with if it is good socialising but I have a friend who stays there and I think the socialising isn't too bad.
Wolfson, whilst really basic, was so much fun! From talking to other people I knew in halls, Wolfson was definitely more social.

Sharing a bathroom was never an issue in my flat, 3 toilets and 3 showers between 14 people and I can't recall ever having to wait.
They're cleaned Mon-Fri by KCL housekeeping staff are cookers and floors in the kitchen.

The kitchen's a little crowded, but not everyone eats at the same time so you soon fall into a routine.

I'd go back tomorrow if given the opportunity, I thought the rooms were a decent size, and whilst they could do with a little updating, were sufficient.

You'll make the most of where you are regardless, but I couldn't fault the location, the security staff or the people I lived with.
